Hello Reign Forest Friends,
We start the month of January with a word picture Solomon writes in Proverbs 25:28. Solomon uses the idea of giant city walls keeping people safe as a way to show the importance of living with self-control. Kids will discover that having protection, like city walls, is the perfect way to help gain self-control. Bottom Line: Doing what you should, can keep you safe. When you choose to do what you should, instead of doing what you want, you keep yourself out of danger. We hope kids discover the value of relying on God for self-control even when it is difficult. Memory Verse: “A person without self-control is like a city with broken down walls” (Proverbs 25:28 NLT). Blessings, The Reign Forest Team
