Obedience - WEEK 3

Obedience- Trusting those who lead you by doing what you’re asked to do.
Bible Story – Following Instructions (Abraham Follows God)  Genesis 12:1-5, Genesis 13:2-18, Genesis 15:1-6
Bottom Line- I should trust and obey even if I don’t know how it will all work out.
Today’s verse – “Trust in your leaders.  Put yourselves under their authority.  Do this, because they keep watch over you.”  Hebrews 13:17
 
Hello Everyone,
After we all had an exciting time of listening to and watching the “story of Jonah” during our Worship Time with our parents, those of us in the Reign Forest went downstairs to learn more about Obedience.  Today we learned about Abraham and how he followed God even though he didn’t know for sure how it would turn out.  He trusted God to be the One True God who had his best in mind.  God had big and wonderful plans for Abraham.  He has big and wonderful plans for us too…we want to follow and trust God just like Abraham did!
 
Note:  We will not have any new Bible Memory verses to learn until September when our new season starts.
