(No new memory verse to learn)  Verse for the lesson :  Hebrews 11:1  NLT  “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”

Hi Everyone!
This past Sunday in the REIGN FOREST we again explored the meaning of FAITH – believing what Jesus did can change me.  Our lesson focused on the fact that the story of Jesus changes how I see others.

The believers in Jesus were afraid to trust Paul and let him into their homes as they knew how he had persecuted believers in the past.  Barnabas had seen how Paul’s life had been changed by the power of Jesus and so he spoke up for Paul and encouraged the others to trust Paul.  He encouraged the other believers to give Paul a second chance.

The kids were encouraged to love others no matter what because Jesus died for each of us no matter what we have done, no matter who we are, or what we are like. 

We ended our lesson with a prayer asking Jesus to help us see others the way He sees them.

We did not have a verse to memorize this week as we have completed our memory work for this season.  These next few weeks will be a time for the children to complete any memory work they still have to say.
