This past Sunday in Reign Forest, we had a great time talking more about peace. We looked at the story of Jacob and Esau from Genesis and how Esau forgave Jacob for the wrong things he did to him. And this is exactly what God wants us to do. God wants us to “let go” of the wrong things someone might do to us and forgive them.
Everyone is doing an awesome job with memorizing their Bible verses. We only have 8 more verses to learn before we reach our 30 Bible Verse Challenge for this year. We are all so proud of each one of you! Way to go and keep up the great work! PEACE: Proving you care more about each other than winning an argument BIBLE STORY: Let It Go (Esau makes peace with Jacob) • Genesis 27:41-45; 31:3; 32:1-21; 33:1-11 BOTTOM LINE: Prove you care about others by letting go of “what’s fair.” MEMORY VERSE: “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians 3:13 NLT The Reign Forest Team
