We had a great time in the Reign Forest today. We talked about reckless words using Proverbs 21:23 for our lesson. Our bottom line was SELECT your words carefully. Our new verse for this week is Ephesians 4:29 NLT, "Don’t use foul language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them."
Let’s remember this week that our words are powerful, whether for bad or for good, to hurt or to help.

This past Sunday in Reign Forest, we focused on Proverbs 25:28 and learned about the importance of self-control and that God can help us maintain self-control in different situations. We had a blast building tall walls out of cups and large marshmallows. We realized that building strong walls can be very difficult just like having self-control in our daily lives can also be very hard.
Now that the Christmas play is over (by the way, we are so proud of everyone for the excellent job they did!), It is time to start up our Bible Memory Verse Challenge again. This week’s verse is “A person without self-control is like a city with broken-down walls.” Proverbs 25:28 NLT |
