Hello Reign Forest Friends,

Hope everyone had a great week! I apologize for the delay in this email. This past Sunday in Reign Forest, we focused on responsibility—showing you can be trusted with what’s expected of you.  We looked at the story of Adam & Eve from Genesis 1 & 2. We learned that God gave us some of the same responsibilities that He did Adam & Eve like taking care of the animals, plants, others and ourselves. Hopefully throughout the week, the kiddos were able to show others that they could be trusted by taking care of what God has made.

Our Bible memory verse for this week is “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” Luke 16:10 NIV. This verse starts our new Bible Memory Verse Challenge of 30 verses for Sept 2014 thru June 2015. We encourage every child to work hard this coming year to meet our 30 Verse Challenge. We are always so proud of each one!!!!

All of us in the Reign Forest would like to introduce you to our brand new curriculum called Orange 252.  252 stands for Luke 2:52 where the Bible tells us, “Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.”  The children will experience 3 basic truths: 
     1.  I need to make the wise choice 
     2.  I can trust God no matter what 
     3.  I should treat others the way I want to be treated.  
We will begin having Reign Forest for ages 3yrs – 3rd grade every Sunday the first Sunday in September.  Josh Tangert and Angie Martin will be joining our team of Reign Forest leaders.  We welcome you, Josh and Angie!
