Dear Reign Forest Friends,
Yesterday in RF, we had our last lesson on the theme of Contentment (deciding to be happy with what you've got). Bible Story: Happy Together (Do Not Worry), Matthew 6:25-34 Bottom Line: When you focus on God, you don't have to worry. Memory Verse: "Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done." (Philippians 4:6 NLT) Have a good week everyone! The RF Team Hi Reign Forest friends!
As we continued our Contentment theme for May, here is a recap of week 4: Bible Story – If I Were a Fool (The Rich Fool: Bigger Barns); Luke 12: 13-21 Bottom Line – When you focus on stuff, you can miss what matters. Memory Verse – “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.” Luke 12:21 NLT Blessings, The Reign Forest Team Contentment: Deciding to be happy with what you’ve got.
Bible Story – We Can’t Get No Satisfaction (Israelites long for Egypt); Exodus 16: 2-21, 17:1-4 Bottom Line – When you focus on what you used to have, you can miss what you have now. Memory Verse – Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” Hebrews 13:5 NLT Contentment: Deciding to be happy with what you got.
Bible Story – I Hurt Him for the Grapevine (Naboth’s Vineyard); 1 Kings 21:1-19, 27 Bottom Line – When you focus on what you don’t have, it can make you miserable. Memory Verse – “Greed causes fighting; trusting the Lord leads to prosperity.” —Proverbs 28:25 NLT Dear friends and families of the REIGN FOREST, It is week 2 of learning about Contentment! We focused on the story of King Ahab not being content with what he had. Instead he kept thinking about how much he wanted Naboth’s vineyard. He thought about it until he was willing to take Naboth’s life in order to have the vineyard for himself. When you focus on what you don’t have, it can make you miserable to the point where you may do things you will wish you hadn’t. So instead focus on what God has provided for you in your life...and Thank Him! Have a great week! The REIGN FOREST Team Contentment: Deciding to be happy with what you’ve got.
Bible Story – Because I’m Happyyyyyyy! (Be Content/Paul in Prison); Philippians 4:11b-13 Bottom Line – When you focus on God, He can help you be content. Memory Verse – “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.” --Psalm 37:4 NLT |
