Hi Reign Forest Friends,
For June 20, week 3, our story is found in Judges 6-8. We discover more about when God called Gideon to lead the Israelites. Gideon doubted God would want him to help. After all, Gideon was from the smallest tribe, the smallest family, and he was the smallest of his family! God wanted him anyway. Eventually, Gideon learned that God could use him no matter what! Bottom Line: God can use you no matter what! Big or small, young or old, God can use people to do extraordinary things. We pray that whether kids feel like Gideon or have the confidence of an entertainer taking the stage, kids will realize that God can use them. NO new memory verse this week. Feel free to have your children catch up on any missed Bible memory verses. Have a great week! The Reign Forest team

Dear RF Friends,
In week two, we headed to Joshua 5:13-6:20. God recently chose Joshua as the next leader of the Israelites. Joshua’s first task was a doozy. He was leading God’s people into the Promised Land, including taking the giant city of Jericho. God’s plan might have seemed a bit crazy, but Joshua had confidence that God’s plan would work. He led the people, and God came through for them. Bottom Line: God’s plan is the best plan. The writers of the Bible remind us over and over that the plans we make are nothing compared to the plans God has for our life. We pray that kids will start to discover how much God loves them and wants what’s best for them. When we follow God’s plan, we can have confidence that it’s the best plan. Memory Verse #30!! – “O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” (Jeremiah 32:17). Blessings, RF Team Hi Reign Forest Friends,
We finish the month in Mark 12:41-44. Jesus is with His disciples and notices how wealthy people are giving lots of money, but then came a poor widow. She gave just two small coins. While this seemed like such a small gift, Jesus says this woman gave more than the rich people because she gave everything she had. Bottom Line: Practice living for God. We know that many kids love to sing and worship God. But worship isn’t just something we do when we sing at church; worship is how we honor God with our whole lives— through how we love others and serve them, how we give of our time and talents, how we obey and praise God, even how we rest. We want kids to practice the faith skill, LIVE, and discover that worship isn’t just singing loud. It’s living loud. Memory Verse (#28): “Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity” (1 Timothy 4:12b). Have a great week! The Reign Forest team |
