This past Sunday we finished up the series on self-control.....choosing to do what you should do, not what you want to do. Our lesson was based on a verse from Proverbs - "If you find honey, eat just enough. If you eat too much of it, you will throw up." Sometimes we can have too much of a good thing! Too much candy, too much time on the computer, too many video games, and the list goes on.....
Sometimes we need to use self-control and know when to stop! Bible memory verse: The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. (1 Corinthians 10:1) |
