Good Morning Everyone!
Yesterday in the Reign Forest we talked about the 3rd piece of Armor that God gives us to use to fight against our enemy Satan. It is the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace. When we have our Peace shoes on we are ready to show with our actions and not just talk about the way that God wants us to live. We will be kind and ready to share the love of Jesus. We talked about doing our ABC’s first. We need to do this before we can wear our peace shoes. A – Admit that we do wrong and that we need someone to take away the wrong things we have done. B – believe that Jesus loves me so much that he died for me to take away my sins. C- Choose to ask Jesus to take away my sins and choose to follow Him. Yesterday the service was somewhat shorter than expected, so I’m sorry if your child was not able to complete all of their crafts. We try to be flexible and go with the flow of the service upstairs. I apologize for the fact that our timing was too short for all the kids to complete everything planned. In the rush of things I also missed giving your children a written copy of the verse for this week. It is as follows: Ephesians 6:13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will be standing firm. (NLT) Keep having your children review the verses they have learned in Ephesians as a whole passage. It would be incredible if they could recite the passage Ephesians 6:10 – 18 as a whole. There is so much power in the word of God and how great it would be for this passage to be in the minds of our children as they grow up. Have a wonderful week! May God bless you all as you continue to faithfully serve Him! ~Cheryl, Jessi and Anita

Hello Reign Forest Friends,
This past Sunday in Reign Forest, we continued to study the Armor Of God and How to Win Against Sin. We focused on the breastplate of righteousness. We learned that if we wear the Breastplate of Righteousness that God gives us, He will help us to do what is right and to fight off sin. We looked at Psalm 119:9-11 and discussed that our Breastplates of Righteousness is not a piece of clothing hanging in our closets to put on everyday, but that it is important for us to seek the Lord with our whole heart, keep His commandments and store up His Word in our hearts by memorizing bible verses. If we are focused on reading the Bible, praying, and trying our best to do what is right, we are wearing our breastplate of righteousness and will be able to fight off sin and Satan. We had fun making breastplates of righteousness to help us to remember to put it on everyday. The children were pretty excited to use glitter glue and many breastplates of righteousness were too wet to take home. If your child did not bring his/her breastplate of righteousness home, I will make sure you get it this Sunday. The memory verse for this week is: “For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12. We do not have Reign Forest this coming Sunday. Reign Forest will meet again on Sunday, June 15. Sorry, this update is so late in the week. Hope the rest of your week goes well.
