Bible Story: Navigator: Barnabas Sticks Up For Paul
Bottom Line: The Story of Jesus changes how I see others. (No new memory verse to learn) Verse for the lesson : Hebrews 11:1 NLT “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hi Everyone! This past Sunday in the REIGN FOREST we again explored the meaning of FAITH – believing what Jesus did can change me. Our lesson focused on the fact that the story of Jesus changes how I see others. The believers in Jesus were afraid to trust Paul and let him into their homes as they knew how he had persecuted believers in the past. Barnabas had seen how Paul’s life had been changed by the power of Jesus and so he spoke up for Paul and encouraged the others to trust Paul. He encouraged the other believers to give Paul a second chance. The kids were encouraged to love others no matter what because Jesus died for each of us no matter what we have done, no matter who we are, or what we are like. We ended our lesson with a prayer asking Jesus to help us see others the way He sees them. We did not have a verse to memorize this week as we have completed our memory work for this season. These next few weeks will be a time for the children to complete any memory work they still have to say. We would like you to have input on when our 30 VERSE PARTY will be held. Please respond and let us know which of the following weeks would suit your families schedule the best: August 7 August 14 May you all have a safe and fun summer! The RF Team

This month we are talking about Faith and how believing what Jesus did can change me
Our Bible Story this week was called Rerouted. We heard about what happened when Jesus met Paul(Saul) on the road to Damascus and how this changed Paul's way of thinking and acting. We talked about the way we live our lives changes after opening our eyes and hearts to Jesus. The Bottom Line:- The story of Jesus changes everything. Memory verse for June 12: You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him, and you rejoice with a glorious inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting Him will be the salvation of your souls. 1Peter 1:8,9 Have a great week! The REIGN FOREST TEAM Faith: believing what Jesus did can change me.
